I wanted to take a moment this week and look at the growth of Mojo Friday over the past few months.  Over the flip, I will show a summary of Mojo Friday Postgame Show statistics over time.

This falls somewhat behind last week's insane pace, which at this point was 178 participants and 1091 comments.

The partic column is participation, and it is simply the commentcount column plus the mojogiven column.  Since you can't mojo your own comments, someone who mojo's every comment they can will have a participation count equal to the total comment count of the diary.  Partic% measures how close each user got to this ideal.

Of course, one data point does not a trend make, but you're as rabid as I am for a hint, aren't you?  Rasmussen's daily tracking poll is a four day rolling average of Democrats nationally, but today noted:

Last night was the first night of interviews without John Edwards in the race. For last night’s data alone, Clinton and Obama were essentially even. I am of the opinion that a better title this week would have been Mojo Friday - We Ain't Got No Sympathy For Servers Edition.  In the face of a site that crashed yesterday and seemed bound to again today, we decided...charge on!  For all the times we printed a document and it never printed...for every Blue Screen of Death...for every time we could absolutely swear we saved that document...for all these reasons and more, screw the servers.  It's fun to make them feel a bit of pain.
